High-speed inverter

The highly integrated inverter operates turbo compressors for fuel cell vehicles. Low-loss air bearings for speeds of up to 150,000 rpm require high starting currents to generate the air film within a short period of time. Scalable from 400 V to 800 V and optionally equipped with Si or SiC semiconductors, the inverter controls can be adapted to each individual electric motor and its operating conditions through optimised control concepts.
