DC Boost Charger

Charge vehicles with an 800 VDC on-board electrical system at 400 VDC wall boxes: The scalable DC Boost Charger makes this possible at a continuous output of up to 180 kW. To ensure it can be integrated into highly efficient on-board electrical systems, this compact series-production device has been optimised to deliver high power density, low weight and the maximum possible efficiency. The charger is fitted with a bypass to allow vehicles to charge directly at 800 VDC charging stations. The already existing AC on-board charging unit is used for communicating with the charging infrastructure.
